Design
We
are using 3-D technology on AutoCad 2000 to design individual
fixtures and to convert your architectural drawings to
shop drawings. We work with specialized partners to help
you design new stores and to modify your existing look.
Functionality, cost-effectiveness, and above all end-user
orientation are our guiding principles. We use a modular
approach wherever possible to reduce implementation time
and cost.
Prototyping
Our
Prototyping Department modifies and improves existing
designs or builds from concept drawings, to test and validate
functionality, appearance and cost-effectiveness. It is
refreshing to learn at times how a substitute material
or a new feature can completely change the look of a fixture,
enhance the overall functionality and often also reduce
the cost.
Manufacturing
Our
plant is equipped with a state-of-the-art machine park,
which allows effective and efficient production. This
includes panel saws, CNC equipment, edgebanders, thermal
forming units, both for laminates and corian, a cabinet
line, a finishing department, and many more. We are also
proud of the many special-purpose production set-ups,
some developed for specific customers, to improve throughput
and reduce cost.
We
apply “lean-manufacturing” techniques and
maintain built-in QA processes to ensure our products
meet customer expectations.
Value
Engineering
For
our major accounts we offer annual value engineering reviews,
aimed at validating that existing designs support current
business objectives and budget constraints. The focus
here is on optimum functionality and customer appeal at
the lowest cost point overall. It is our job to introduce
new materials and processes in support of the above objectives.
Storage
and Consolidation
We
have pioneered the “Branch in a Box”, meaning
that for multi-location roll-outs all items required to
completely furnish a store, restaurant or bank branch
are shipped to our warehouse for consolidation, and then
shipped and installed as one package. We handle the logistics,
and coordinate with the General Contractor, to save you
time and money.
Project
Management
Every
major project is assigned to a Project Manager, who is
responsible for all aspects of the implementation of the
project, on time and on quality. We also assign Executive
Contacts to all Major Accounts for overall coordination.
All
of our PM’s have multi-year experience in our industry
and a proven track record.
Installations
We
maintain dedicated Installation Teams for large Department
Store installations on a national basis, and local Installation
Teams covering the 5-state area around Ohio.
In
addition, we are working with pre-qualified partners to
handle larger roll-outs of super-regional or national
scope.
All
installations are inspected and certified to insure the
end-product meets your expectations.
Roll-Out
Programs
Special
Project Teams are formed and assigned to manage Roll-out
Programs, drawing on multiple functions within M21 and
combining many of the capabilities mentioned in this section.
The emphasis here is on Program Management and Coordination,
often involving Project Teams from our customer and other
partners. In-depth planning, instant communications, and
prompt elevation if the Critical Path is at risk, are
the focus here.
